I was in A&E from pm on Tuesday 14th May - am 15th May I was treat exceptionally well by all members of staff from Doctors to porters and also by the ambulance service Iwas treated with respect and well cared for by polite and professional people I would like to thank everyone I came into contact with

Nothing could have been done better in an extremely busy environment well done to everyone working on A&E

All staff very friendly and efficient. Clean waiting areas. Dr was very thorough in his assessment of X-rays and found details that weren’t found at the previous appointment. Discussed steps going forward in easy way of understanding.

There was delay with clinic times but wasn’t told until I’d asked about how long the wait would be which after 30 minutes of waiting

I arrived mid-day and had x-ray and bloods together with a temporary bandaging of my hand by 4pm. I was then told by the doctor to wait for a tetanus and final dressing in the waiting room. By 7pm I was concerned that nothing was happening so asked the receptionist when I might likely be seen but I had been discharged. I was readmitted and dealt with DND away by 7:30pm..if I had not seen the receptionist I suspect I would still be there.

The Ambulatory Care Unit looked after me extremely well. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, reassuring and thorough in checking me over and ensuring I was healthy and fit enough to be discharged after suffering from worrying symptoms for approximately one month prior to visiting. I was also kept extremely well fed and hydrated with sandwiches and coffees throughout the day.

The majority of the staff we had were made us feel very small about it situation and made myself and my partner feel very interrogated.

Not to make assumptions straight away and actually look at what the problem was with my baby.
